The Shephard, 275 West 10th Street

BBB has repositioned a landmark warehouse (circa 1894) into The Shephard, a contemporary residential building in the heart of the West Village that preserves its original character and blends seamlessly into its historic surroundings.

The gut renovation includes a new entry lobby pavilion, a gracious residents' garden, amenity areas and complete redesign of the 12 residential floors including three penthouses. Along with a restored facade and new energy efficient, UV-protected windows, the interior is fully upgraded. New mechanical systems, acoustics and technology are carefully integrated, including a VRF heating and cooling system with multi-zone controls, remote access to climate control and security for each unit, and an emergency generator that provides a back-up for lights, water, elevators, and refrigeration in case of a sudden power loss. The interiors are designed by Gachot Studios.
